Accountant/Purchasing
McDuffie County is accepting applications for the position of Accountant/Purchasing in the Finance Department.
This position is responsible for county purchases, expenditures of the county budget, compiling, analyzing and preparing various reports in a timely and accurate manner. This is a fast-paced governmental and accounting environment responsible for overseeing the spending and collections of the county budget.
Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance; three years of progressive experience in purchasing and governmental accounting; a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include: Certified Professional Public Buyer, National Institute of Governmental Purchasing Certified Procurement Professional certifications.
